Uchiha Itachi is a significant character from the anime series *Naruto Shippuden*. He first appears in episode 13 of the original *Naruto* anime, titled "Those Who Pass!".

Itachi was a prodigy of the Uchiha clan, known for his exceptional skill and intellect. He graduated from the Ninja Academy at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an Anbu Black Ops member.

However, Itachi is best known for his involvement in the Uchiha clan massacre, where he single-handedly eliminated nearly all members of his clan. This act was orchestrated to prevent a coup d'état that would have plunged the Hidden Leaf Village into war.
